Unlike ordinary picks, Dava picks have a flexible center section. This is placed right where you hold it. You control the flexibility by putting pressure either toward the tip or toward the back of the pick, or anywhere in between the two, giving you multi-gauge control.

If you’re used to playing with the very round part of the pick (back section) you can try rounding off the tip with a file and sandpaper.

Nickel Silver is a soft material, the same as the frets on your guitar. Although a metal pick is harder on the strings than plastic, the Master Control pick is not anywhere near as hard as stainless steel.
